![]() ![]() My personal issues with Diablo Immortal are:ĭiablo has been mainly a PC title, and a mobile experience has not been able to match up to a PC experience thus far. It is clearly not a game made for the fans, which by itself is OK (money is money), but not after a hype train and not as the closing comments of Blizzcon’s opening ceremony. Because of this hype train, the announcement of a mobile game was that much more insulting and disappointing. ![]() This launched a hype train for something like Diablo 2 remaster or Diablo 4 (in other words, things the fans actually cared about). Calling Diablo Immortal a new game is generous.Ĥ) A few weeks ago, Blizzard released a vlog hyping up exciting news for the Diablo franchise (“multiple projects”). Some say it is just a copy of Netease’s previous game with a coat of D3 paint. Furthermore, the game itself is derived from existing mobile games created by NetEase. In other words, Blizzards involvement is not absolute, which many consider contrary to Blizzard’s goals of quality and excellence.ģ) Diablo Immortal is recycling assets, classes, and mechanics from Diablo 3, a really old title at this point. Simply put:ġ) Diablo is historically a PC title, and fans of the franchise (especially those the pay to attend Blizzcon) expect PC games.Ģ) Diablo Immortal is a mobile game developed through a “partnership” with a foreign company. In my opinion there’s four things to understand about the outrage. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
